Al-Louh demanded European actors to back the Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas’s vision, presented before the Security Council in February 2018, as a successful and available mechanism to establish peace and find a solution to the region’s crisis, which has been intensified due the Israeli government’s intransigence, in addition to the unjust and illegal US decisions against Jerusalem and the Palestinian people, which were rejected.
He called on the EU member states to recognise the State of Palestine on the borders of the 4 June 1967, with East Jerusalem as its capital to preserve the principle of the two-state solution, which was adopted and endorsed by the European Union.
