The US-led coalition aircraft jets have attacked a Syrian regime’s military position near the battlefront against the last Daesh pocket located in the country’s eastern province of Deir Ez-Zour, official Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) reported yesterday.

“US coalition aircraft launched an attack this evening against one of the Syrian Arab army formations operating in the Albukamal area in the southeastern countryside of Deir el-Zour,” SANA quoted a military source as saying.

The sources explained that the attack led to the injury of two soldiers and destroyed a military cannon.

Damascus often accuses Washington of aiding “terrorists” to destabilise the government.
