Athens’ first mosque, which has been under construction for over a decade, has sparked outrage in the Greek capital.

The far right sees the mosque as an attack on Greek Orthodox Christian heritage.

Despite construction having now been completed, the mosque remains closed to the public and may not officially open until the summer.
