Stray bullets hit Israel military vehicle near Egypt border

An Israeli military vehicle was shot near the Egyptian border yesterday, an Israeli military source said, no casualties were reported.

“A military vehicle was reported to have been shot with, apparently, stray bullets near the border with Egypt,” Israeli army spokesman Avichai Adarei said in a press release.

“The circumstances of the incident are under investigation, there were no casualties,” Adarei added.

According to the Israeli newspaper the Time of Israel, the bullets were likely spill over from infighting in Sinai, and the incident follows several similar occurrences in recent months.
