Waleed Al-Hathloul, the brother of detained Saudi activist, Loujain Al-Hathloul has addressed the US Congress again about the circumstances of his sister’s detention in Saudi Arabia.

In his testimony, Waleed said his sister is being subjected to torture and sexual harassment, adding that there are attempts to cover it up.

“Let me say it in bold, my sister, Loujain Al-Hathloul has been subjected to the worst forms of torture and sexual harassment”.

Waleed Al-Hathloul has recently called on the renowned singer, Akon who is scheduled to perform in Saudi Arabia to talk about the issue of his sister.

Waleed has previously asked US singer, Mariah Carey to address the issues of female human rights detainees in Saudi Arabia.
