The Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine (DFLP) said yesterday that scrapping the Oslo agreement and ending the national division are the best ways to face the policies of US President Donald Trump, Quds Net News reported.

In a statement, the DFLP said that these two measures would also undermine Israeli plans regarding the occupied West Bank and Jerusalem.

The DFLP called for all factions and individuals not to commit mistakes or take the wrong paths in their attempts to solve the Palestinian issue because any efforts exerted based on Oslo would be “useless”.

In this regard, it called for taking actual steps regarding the resolutions made by the Palestinian National Council because statements and condemnation have no effect.

Regarding ending the division, the DFLP said that the best way to do so is general elections, including presidential and parliamentary elections supervised by a transitional national unity government.
