Libya extends registration for Hajj season until next Thursday

The Libyan Department of Hajj and Umrah of the General Authority for Awqaf and Islamic Affairs of the Presidential Council has extended the registration for the Muslims annual ritual of pilgrimage known as Hajj for the year 2019 until Thursday, May, 2.

The Hajj and Umrah department has also set May, 9 as the date for the Hajj balloting to choose the final candidates.

The department had earlier announced the minimum age to apply for Hajj is 25 years old and for companions to be at least 18 years old.
