Scores of Israeli Jewish settlers desecrated Al-Aqsa Mosque yesterday, the first day of the Muslim holy month of Ramadan, Al-Resalah newspaper reported.

The settlers, who were protected by the Israeli police, raided the mosque through Al-Mughrabi Gate and then scattered around the yards of the mosque.

They performed Talmudaic rituals inside the mosque and in front of the Dome of the Rock.

Israel Police preventing Palestinian worshippers from entering the mosque’s courtyard while the settlers raided the mosque, placing barricades across the occupied city of Jerusalem.

Today, scores more settlers raided Al-Aqsa Mosque.
