From Bethlehem to London: Palestinian children celebrate their identity through dance

Meet 'Hakaya', a Palestinian folklore dance group from the occupied city of Bethlehem, celebrating their heritage through Dabkeh

The Hakaya dancing group came to the UK from Bethlehem for a fortnight working with Palestine Foundation UK, under the auspices of their ‘Bethlehem Link’ project as part of its cultural exchange programme. They have performed everywhere from London’s Southbank to the Grenfell Tower and toured a range of schools.
