Member of PLO Executive Committee Wasel Abu Yousef said yesterday that Hamas and Islamic Jihad will take part in a meeting of Palestinian factions in Ramallah, Al Wattan Voice reported.

Abu Yousef said that there will be a meeting for the Palestinian factions in Ramallah aimed at discussing the consequences of the postponement of the Fatah and PLO delegations' visit to Gaza.

The PLO official claimed that Hamas did not reply to Fatah's request to facilitate visits of its delegation to Gaza. Hamas denied the claims and said Fatah and all PLO factions are welcome in Gaza.

Palestinian factions were due to meet in Gaza to discuss ways to counter the US' newly released "peace plan" for the Middle East dubbed the "deal of the century".
