Fatah condemns Israel’s detention of its members in West Bank, Jerusalem

Fatah yesterday condemned Israel’s detention of its members in the occupied West Bank and Jerusalem, Quds Net News reported.

Spokesman in the West Bank Osama Al-Qawasmi said: “Israel’s detention of our leaders and members will not change our ideology, or change our political stance or lead us to give up our resistance against the occupation.”

“Targeting Fatah proves that we are the right reference for our people and indicates that our resistance against the conspiracies; on top of which is the crime [deal] of the century,” he added in reference to the US “peace deal” for the Palestine-Israel conflict which was unveiled late last month.

Earlier yesterday, Fatah said that the Israeli occupation arrested 28 Palestinians in the occupied West Bank and Jerusalem, including a woman and a number of its leaders and members.
