Military forces affiliate with Libyan Commander Khalifa Haftar carried out two separate strikes on two different schools in Tripoli, Arabi21 reported yesterday.

The two schools are located in the vicinity of Abu Salim municipality.

Since 4 April 2019, Tripoli has been under continuous attack through the use of artillery bombings and airstrikes by Haftar’s military forces.

Haftar has been trying to take over the capital which is being run by the internationally-backed Government of National Accord (GNA).

Last month, Haftar refused to sign a ceasefire brokered by Moscow; however, he was warmly welcomed by President Emmanuel Macron on Monday and by German Chancellor Angela Merkel yesterday.
