Israeli military courts yesterday extended the detention of three Palestinian women, the Palestinian Information Center reported.

The news site reported the Palestinian Commission of Detainees’ and Ex-Detainees’ Affairs saying that the military court of Ofer extended the detention of 21-year-old Anagim Awad, a university student from Hebron. She was kidnaped by Israeli forces about ten days ago.

Another military court also extended the detention of Shams Mashaqi, from Yasid village in Nablus, until next Tuesday. She is being held in the Jalamah interrogation centre.

Mashaqi, a young writer, was kidnaped from her home in Yasid village last Monday.

The detention of Mona Qa’dan was also extended for nine days. She was taken from her home in Arraba town in Jenin two days ago. She is also being held in the Jalamah interrogation centre.

Qa’dan had been arrested and jailed five times before and spent a total of eight years in Israeli jails.
