The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (UN OCHA) said Israeli authorities have demolished or confiscated 20 structures owned by Palestinians in Area C of the occupied West Bank and East Jerusalem from 30 March to 12 April.

The UN agency said in a report that the demolition led to the displacement of 13 people, and damaged the livelihoods of about 90 others, pointing out that ten structures were demolished in eight communities in Area C, with one incident displacing seven people in the Dhahrat an Nada area of Bethlehem, in the south of the occupied West Bank.

“In Susiya (Hebron), the Israeli authorities seized a tent provided as humanitarian assistance,” the report said.

In East Jerusalem, a family of six was forced to demolish their home in the Jabal Al- Mukaber neighbourhood, and six structures were demolished in Issawiya.

According to the report, the Israeli authorities have also issued six stop-work orders against at least 32 Palestinian residential and agriculture structures and a road in Khirbet ar Ras Al Ahmar near Tubas governorate, in the north of the West Bank.
