Egypt’s Journalists Syndicate Council said it has joined all international legal cases filed with the competent international bodies against Israel over its violations of international laws, amounting to war crimes and crimes against humanity in Palestine.

In a statement, the council slammed Israel’s “brutal attacks” amounting to “war crimes and crimes against humanity” against the Palestinian people across historic Palestine.

The statement said the council has reopened a bank account to receive public donations to support the Palestinian people which would be delivered through the approved legal channels.

It called on the Federation of Arab Journalists, in coordination with the Egyptian Syndicate, trade unions, and Arab press associations, to hold an immediate virtual meeting to launch urgent action with regional and international press bodies to condemn the Israeli aggression and support the steadfastness of the Palestinian people.
