The Tunisian Ministry of Education yesterday launched “Palestine Week” in schools in order to educate younger generations about the Palestinian cause.

The initiative took place in a school in Hamam Chott, a southern suburb of the capital, Tunis, in solidarity with the Palestinian people, after the education institute was reopened following national lockdown to stem the spread of coronavirus.

The city of Hamam Chott is living proof of the Zionist entity’s brutality, as on 1 October 1985 the occupation air force carried out a raid on the city targeting the headquarters of the Palestinian Fatah Movement’s Force 17, which resulted in the martyrdom of 50 Palestinians and 18 Tunisians.
