Israeli occupation forces have detained scores of Palestinian citizens of Israel after they took part in protests in solidarity with Palestinians being bombed by Israel in the besieged Gaza Strip, Arab48 reported yesterday.
Palestinian citizens of Israel are also protesting against Israel's aggression against worshippers at Al-Aqsa Mosque and official attempts to forcibly expel Palestinian families in Jerusalem's Sheikh Jarrah neighbourhood.
According to Adalah – the Legal Center for Arab Minority Rights in Israel, Israel on Tuesday detained 27 of its Arab citizens.
Adalah said that it had contacted lawyers who were present at the detention centres to provide legal assistance to those detained.
