Hamas thanks Yemen people for support, prays for their future unity and security

Hamas said it appreciates the Yemeni people’s support for the Palestinian struggle against occupation and wished Yemen a future of unity, security and prosperity, the movement said in a statement.

“We highly appreciate Yemeni people’s support for the Palestinian people in their struggle against the occupation,” citing their support during the Sword of Jerusalem battle last month. “We wish Yemen and its people a future of unity, security and prosperity, as well as an end to the ongoing struggle in a way that best serves all Yemenis.”

Clarifying its comments, the movement added: “We stress that any of the statements, stances or actions made by Hamas officials perceived as taking side of a certain party or intervention in the tragic conflict in Yemen are personal and that they do not represent the movement.”
