Moroccan Prime Minister Saadeddine El-Othmani said his country is being subjected to “an intended aggressive operation” and attempts to involve it in external problems and disputes.

Speaking at the opening of a cabinet meeting yesterday, El-Othmani said the enemies of the kingdom’s territorial integrity “do not want Morocco to remain free”, adding that the recent speech by King Mohammed VI has made it clear that these parties are “recruiting all possible means, legal and illegal, distributing roles, and using huge means of influence, to involve Morocco in problems and disputes with some countries.”

“They have orchestrated a wide campaign to distort the image of our security institutions, and try to influence its strength and effectiveness in maintaining the security and stability of Morocco,” the premier said.

The Moroccan king has recently said that his country is being targeted by conspiracies; because it enjoys security and stability.
