A number of Israeli settlers opened fire on Friday evening on Palestinian homes and vehicles in the Old City of Hebron, south of the occupied West Bank, Anadolu Agency reported.

Journalist Jamal Es’efan disclosed that the Israeli settlers smashed three vehicles owned by the Al-Razm family as they carried out a provocative tour around Wadi Al-Hussein in the Old City.

Es’efan, according to Anadolu Agency, reported that the Israeli settlers later opened fire on his relative’s house, which is near to the illegal Jewish settlement of Kiryat Arba, causing much damage to the home.

He also said that another group of settlers attacked a house belonging to the Al-Ja’bari family in the same area and smashed the glass of the front façade of the house.

Es’efan posted a video on Facebook of the settlers opening fire on the Palestinian home.

Es’efan’s family has been under repeated attacks and harassment by the Israeli settlers aiming to push them to flee their home and land in order to be added to the settlement of Kiryat Arba.

About 800 Israeli settlers live in five illegal Israeli settlements around Hebron, in addition to 7,600 living in Kiryat Arba, located in the middle of the occupied Palestinian city.

Several Israeli media and rights groups’ reports have revealed that Israeli government officials are encouraging the anti-Palestinian activities the settler carry out in the occupied territories.
