Saudi King Salman Bin Abdulaziz yesterday dismissed the chief of special affairs Nasser Al-Nafisi from his position, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.

SPA said the king replaced Al-Nafisi with Abdulaziz Al-Faisal.

The Saudi king also ordered the appointment of Majed Bin Muhammad Al Mazyed as Governor of the National Cybersecurity Authority and Badr Bin Abdulrahman Al-Qadi as Deputy Minister of Sports.

According to SPA, Al Mazyed has held a number of supervisory positions over the past few years; the most recent of which was deputy governor for the International Cooperation Sector at the National Cybersecurity Authority.

He has also previously held the position of deputy governor of the Communications and Information Technology Commission.

SPA gave no further details about Al-Qadi or Al-Faisal.
