Deputy chairman of Hamas political bureau, Saleh Al-Arouri, said yesterday that the movement will not be silent about the Israeli army's murder of five Palestinians in the occupied West Bank, adding that their blood "will not be in vain".
"Every drop of the martyrs' blood will have a price," Al-Arouri said in a statement posted on the group's website.
Earlier yesterday, the Palestinian Ministry of Health announced that the death toll from the Israeli aggression on the occupied West Bank at dawn reached five, including two Palestinians in Jenin and three north of Jerusalem.
Jenin Governor, Akram Rajoub, said the Israeli army wounded nine Palestinians in Jenin, eight of them were taken to Palestinian hospitals while the ninth was detained by the Israeli occupation army.
Three of those killed were members of the Izz Al-Din Al-Qassam Brigades, while the fourth belonged to the Al-Quds Brigades, according to two separate statements by the organisations.
