Watch the 10th annual Palestine Book Awards, held on Wednesday, 24 November 2021 at 6.30pm GMT.
The evening began with a keynote address by Haider Eid – an Associate Professor at Al-Aqsa University, a policy advisor at Al-Shabaka, and a member of the advisory committee of the Palestinian Campaign for the Academic and Cultural Boycott of Israel.
The keynote was followed by a roundtable discussion with this year’s shortlisted authors proving an opportunity to explore their books. Professor Eugene Rogan of St Anthony’s College, Oxford, will moderate the dialogue with PBA Judge Prof Nur Masalha.
