Trump: Evangelical Americans ‘love Israel more than Jews in the US'

Former US President Donald Trump has said that Evangelical Christians of the United States love Israel more than American Jews, Israeli journalist Barak Ravid revealed on Friday.

“There are people in this country that are Jewish that no longer love Israel,” Ravid reported Trump saying, according to the Jerusalem Post. “The Evangelical Christians love Israel more than the Jews in this country.”

Trump also revealed to Ravid that Jews had absolute power over the US Congress, but today, they do not have control over the Congress

“It used to be that Jews had absolute power over Congress and today I think it’s the exact opposite. And I think [former US President] Obama and [current President] Biden did that,” said.

Last month, in an interview on the Ari Hoffman Show, Trump said that “Israel literally owned Congress”.
