Palestinian mother says goodbye to family before prison term for Gaza activism

Palestinian humanitarian worker Aya Khatib said goodbye to her family members ahead of a 4-year term in an Israeli prison for 'funding terrorism'. The mother of two is well known for her work fundraising for children's charities in Gaza, but Israel accused her of spying for Hamas and arrested her in 2020 before handing her a prison sentence in August 2023.
