A special corner dedicated to Palestine was inaugurated on Saturday at the International Park in the Bulgarian city of Dobrich, with the participation of the Embassy of the State of Palestine in the Republic of Bulgaria, WAFA reported.
The Palestinian flag was raised above the designated area in the International Park, and several trees, including olive saplings, were planted to symbolise Palestinian heritage and culture. An information panel about Palestine was also erected.
The opening ceremony of the Palestinian corner was attended by the Deputy Speaker of the Bulgarian Parliament, the mayor of Dobrich, members of the diplomatic corps, and a group of athletes.
