Israeli warplanes intensified their raids on the Gaza Strip for the fifth consecutive day, while the resistance launched missile strikes on various areas of Israel, especially in the Gaza envelope in Ashkelon.

Some 900 Palestinians, including 260 children and 230 women, have now been killed in addition to 4,500 who sustained various injuries. The number of Israeli deaths reached 900, in addition to 2,400 wounded.

Nearly 2.3 million Palestinians are experiencing a humanitarian disaster in light of the ongoing aggression against the Gaza Strip, the massacres committed by the occupation against civilians, depriving them of the most basic needs for life, and depriving Gaza of electricity, water, medical and health equipment and medicine.

Residents of western Gaza City were displaced from their homes at dawn this morning as the area was subjected to violent Israeli bombing.

UNRWA announced in a brief statement the displacement of about 250,000 Palestinians in Gaza, most of whom have taken shelter in the agency’s schools.

Amid the displacement, the occupation’s destruction of infrastructure and civil projects, and the deprivation of Gaza of fuel and electricity, the government media office in the Gaza Strip said that the electricity generation company may shut down within hours.

The media office urgently appealed to the international community and its humanitarian organisations to act quickly to stop this “crime against humanity.”
