Israeli army bombs civilians fleeing Gaza through Rafah crossing

After Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu warned Palestinians to leave the Gaza Strip or face death as a result of Israel's bombing campaign, Tel Aviv targeted Gaza's only civilian crossing, stopping Palestinians from escaping the ongoing bombardment of the enclave. Tel Aviv also threatened to bomb an Egyptian aid convoy as it approached the crossing, forcing it to retreat.
