The leader of Yemen’s Houthi movement, Abdel-Malek Al-Houthi, warned yesterday that if the US intervenes on the side of Israel in its “war” against the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, the group will respond by firing drones and missiles, and other military options, Reuters has reported.

“There are red lines when it comes to Gaza,” said Al-Houthi. He added that the movement is ready to coordinate with other groups and intervene. “We warn America that its direct intervention in the aggression against the Palestinian people means turning it into a regional war.”

Several Yemeni cities have witnessed marches in support of Operation Al-Aqsa Flood carried out by the Palestinian resistance in Israeli settler communities surrounding the Gaza Strip. Participants raised Palestinian flags and chanted slogans in support of the resistance.

Israel has responded to the operation with ongoing air strikes against the Palestinians in the besieged Gaza Strip. More than 700 Palestinians have been killed, including women and children. The death toll is rising by the hour.
