Israel launched, on Thursday, attacks on the Syrian capital of Damascus and the city of Aleppo, targeting their airports, according to local media, Anadolu Agency reports.
“An Israeli attack targeted the main airports in the capital, Damascus, and the northern city of Aleppo on Thursday,” the daily, Haaretz, reported.
The Israeli army confirmed bombing the two airports in simultaneous attacks, according to the Israeli Channel 12.
Sham FM reported that Syrian air defence was launched in response to the attack.
The attack caused no injuries.
