Israeli settlers have shot and killed a Palestinian man and his son during a funeral procession of four Palestinians who had been killed by settlers in the town of Qusra, south of Nablus, in the northern occupied West Bank.
The Palestinian Ministry of Health announced yesterday the murder of Ibrahim Ahmed Mahmoud Wadi, 62, and his son Ahmed, 25, by settlers’ bullets.
Local sources reported that the settlers intercepted the funeral procession of the four Palestinians who had been killed on Wednesday evening while the procession was heading from Salfit Governmental Hospital to Qusra.
According to the sources, the Israeli army purposefully closed the northern entrance to Salfit ahead of the funeral procession, forcing mourners to change their route.
“When the convoy arrived at the entrance to the town of Al-Sawiya, south of Nablus, the settlers intercepted them and shot them, killing two people and injuring three others,” the sources said.
Four Palestinians were murdered on Wednesday, during a settler attack against the town of Qasra while more than 14 others were injured.
