Hamas said yesterday that the occupation’s bombing of bakeries in Gaza is a crime against humanity that requires urgent Arab and international action to stop it.
In a statement, Hamas added: “The Zionist occupation’s bombing of five bakeries and the surroundings of others in the Gaza Strip is a continuation of the crime of genocide to which our people are exposed. It is also a crime against humanity aimed at cutting off food supplies to our people, starving them and depriving them of access to the main food item.”
At home no household can make bread now for lack of electricity, cooking gas, and flour.

Hamas called on the League of Arab States, the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) and the United Nations to take urgent action to stop the crimes of the occupation that devastate humanity and to bring aid to the defenceless civilians targeted by the Israeli occupation around the clock
On 17 October, Israel bombed Al-Nuseirat Bakery which had been supplying bread to Palestinians in the refugee camp and who are slowly being starved to death as a result of Israel’s ongoing complete siege of the enclave.
