Baroness Warsi: Netanyahu bolstered Hamas to thwart a Palestinian state

Speaking on BBC Question Time, British Conservative Peer Baroness Sayeeda Warsi highlighted Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s past support and funding of Hamas as a means of keeping Palestinians divided and thwarting historic opportunities for peace and the establishment of a Palestinian state. This comes as neither conservative nor labour leaders in Britain support a ceasefire in Gaza as Israel intensifies its bombardment of the besieged Strip.
