The ongoing Israeli bombing damaged over 200,000 housing units, with more than 32,000 completely demolished, according to Salama Marouf, head of the Government Media Office in Gaza.

During a press conference held yesterday, Marouf stated that the occupation also targeted mosques, churches and schools where thousands have taken refuge from the bombing.

Since the start of the aggression, he added, 116 medical personnel, 18 rescue team members, and 35 media professionals have been killed, while warning that Israel has threatened to target Al-Quds and Al-Shifa Hospitals, two of the remaining functioning medical centres in Gaza. Tens of thousands of Palestinians have relocated to within the hospital walls or are sleeping around them, hoping that medical centres will be protected from Israel’s aggressive bombing campaign.
