it said in a statement.
The Foreign Ministry considered the bombing of a residential area “a blatant violation of the international law” which will exacerbate the situation.
It urged countries and relevant international bodies to condemn the attacks and the international community to shoulder responsibility for providing protection to Palestinian civilians.
A series of Israeli airstrikes on the Jabalia refugee camp led to hundreds of casualties, according to the Interior Ministry in the besieged enclave. It said
Victims mostly included women and children, adding that Israeli warplanes destroyed the entire residential square known as Block 6
The Israeli army has expanded its air and ground attacks on the Gaza Strip, which has been under relentless airstrikes since the surprise offensive by the Palestinian Resistance group, Hamas, on 7 October.
More than 10,000 people have been killed in the conflict since then, including 8,525 Palestinians and 1,538 Israelis.
Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, has rejected growing calls for a cease-fire, saying it would be”surrender” to Hamas.
An Israeli blockade of the Strip has also cut off Gaza from fuel, electricity and water supplies.
Reduced aid deliveries are unable to satisfy the needs of the more than 2 million residents.
