The head of the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement abroad, Khaled Meshaal, has said that the Israeli occupation authorities have not yet absorbed the shock of 7 October and are confused, afraid of more resistance surprises. Meshaal made his comment to TRT Arabi on Tuesday.
“The occupation was defeated militarily and now it is taking revenge on the children,” the senior Hamas politician added in an interview also covered by Quds Press. “Its heinous crime in Jabaliya camp has to be condemned.”
An estimated 400 Palestinians were killed or wounded in the bombing of the crowded refugee camp in the Gaza Strip by the Israeli air force yesterday, most of them women and children. Meshaal pointed out that hundreds of families have been wiped out by Israel’s genocidal attacks on Gaza.
“The Rafah crossing must be opened for unlimited amounts of aid,” he insisted, “and this ongoing war crime must be ended. How many weeks must we wait to see action on this?”
The former head of the Hamas political bureau said that the resistance has outperformed the enemy in intelligence, on the ground, in the media, and in all areas of the war. “It is ready and prepared for all of the occupation’s incursions into all axes in the Gaza Strip.”
