Israel bombs Al-Shifa Hospital and ambulance

Scores of Palestinians have been injured after Israel targeted the entrance to Gaza’s leading medical facility, Al-Shifa Hospital. Tens of thousands of internally displaced Palestinians have been taking refuge in and around the hospital in an effort to escape the occupation’s relentless bombing campaign. Israel launched an incitement campaign against the hospital claiming a Palestinian resistance cell has positioned its headquarters beneath the building, a claim denied by Palestinians, human rights workers and international doctors who have worked in the besieged enclave.
