Israel security source claim 20,000 killed in Gaza

A senior Israeli security source has disclosed that an estimated 20,000 people were killed in occupation airstrikes in the Gaza Strip. Itamar Eichner, the diplomatic correspondent of Yedioth Ahronoth  wrote today that the security source added that: “Hundreds were killed in the rubble of the tunnels. The pressure on Hamas is increasing, and only when they feel the sword on their necks will they offer a deal to release the abductees in order to save their skins.”

It must be recalled that last week US President Biden questioned the 7,000 dead figure released by the Ministry of Health in Gaza. Biden said he had “no confidence in the number that the Palestinians are using.” He added, “I have no notion that the Palestinians are telling the truth about how many people are killed.”

It would be interesting to hear what President Biden’s opinion is about the current Israeli security estimate. Perhaps he would now accept the Palestinian figures.
