3 Mossad agents detained for planning attack on Iran, media reports

Three agents working for the Israeli intelligence agency, Mossad, have been arrested in cooperation between the Iranian and Afghan intelligence agencies, the official Iranian news agency IRNA reported yesterday.

According to IRNA, the three agents were apprehended in the mountainous region on the border between Iran and Afghanistan. They had reportedly planned to target Iran with drones through the border mountains.

The operation was carried out in collaboration with the intelligence agency of the Afghan government, and the arrested individuals will be transported to Iran for further investigation.
