In a statement issued yesterday, the association said 17 of its affiliated universities would boycott products and brands that support Israel in response to the Israeli attacks against the Gaza Strip and “not to remain silent regarding the humanitarian crimes committed in Gaza”.
The universities participating in the boycott include: Bandirma Onyedi Eylul University, Bartin University, Bilecik Seyh Edebali University, Bolu Abant Izzet Baysal University, Bursa Technical University, Cankiri Karatekin University, Duzce University, Gebze Technical University, Karabuk University, Kastamonu University Kocaeli University, Sakarya University, Sakarya University of Applied Sciences and Zonguldak Bulent Ecevit University.
