UK’s top trade unions to march for Gaza on Armistice Day

Leaders of three prominent UK trade unions, the National Railway Union, the National Education Union, and the National Fire Brigades Union, announced they will be marching to call for a ceasefire in Gaza on Saturday, which will also coincide with Armistice Day. This comes as Britain’s justice secretary is calling for the Armistice Day pro-Palestine march to be postponed. Saturday’s protest is scheduled to start at Marble Arch and end at the US embassy in south-west London, about two miles from the Cenotaph, where formal remembrance events will be held the next day.
