Five Israeli soldiers killed in ambush in Gaza

Five Israeli soldiers were confirmed dead, including two officers, in an ambush in Gaza. At least 154 Israeli soldiers have been killed since Israel began its ground invasion of Gaza eight weeks ago, bringing the total of Israeli military deaths since Hamas's 7 October attack to 487.
