Canadian Muslim leaders cancel meeting with Justin Trudeau for dismissing ICJ ruling

Canadian Muslim leaders cancel a meeting with Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau in protest against Trudeau's pro-Israel response to the International Court of Justice's decision. Stephen Brown, CEO of the National Council of Canadian Muslims (NCCM), spoke with reporters in Ottawa, saying 'at this moment, we no longer think it's productive to speak with this Prime Minister,' adding that this is 'an unprecedented step' for the council. The meeting was intended to be held on the seventh anniversary of the Quebec City Mosque massacre in 2017. Six people were killed and 19 were injured when a gunman stormed the Islamic Cultural Centre on 29 January, 2017.
