US advises ICJ against issuing order for termination of Israeli occupation

Richard Visek, US deputy legal adviser, told the International Court of Justice today it 'should not find that Israel is legally obligated to immediately and unconditionally withdraw from occupied territory.' More than 50 states are presenting arguments during a week-long series of hearings at the World Court on the legality of Israel's occupation of Palestine.
