Various scenes capture the heartbreaking moments as Palestinians in Gaza bid their shrouded loved ones farewell for the last time. Israel has killed more than 29,000 Palestinians in Gaza since the start of its onslaught on the besieged strip on 7 October. More than 12,000 of them are children.
