US State Dept spokesman grilled over Israel’s strike on Iran in Syria

When asked if a determination had been made about the target of Israel's air strike in Damascus on 1 April, US State Department Spokesperson Matthew Miller said the US was still gathering information on whether it was indeed an Iranian diplomatic facility or not, explaining they had not yet reached a conclusion. During the press briefing, Miller was pressed on the time it is taking the US to make a determination compared to the swift condemnation of other incidents, such as the invasion of the Mexican embassy in Ecuador.
