ICJ warns Germany over Israeli arms sales but rejects provisional measures

The International Court of Justice (ICJ) ruled it will take 'no provisional measures' in the initial hearing brought by Nicaragua against Germany over its arms sales to Israel, arguing it makes it complicit in crimes in Gaza. The ICJ, however, warned Germany over its obligations under the genocide convention in relation to the weapons it sells to Israel, and ruled that it will allow the full court case to go ahead, rejecting Germany's application for the court to dismiss the case altogether.
