Yemen’s Ansarallah movement (Houthis) yesterday stated that the assassination of Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh is a significant escalation, a major transgression and a blatant violation of all laws, customs and international treaties.

The Houthis added that the assassination of Haniyeh is a terrorist crime, representing a severe loss for the nation at a crucial juncture in the confrontation with the Israeli occupation.

“We are determined to stand alongside Hamas and all resistance factions in confronting the Israeli aggression backed by the US,” the movement affirmed.

It pointed out that the continuation of the occupation’s crimes of genocide and the assassination of leading figures indicates its incapacity and complete failure in the war.

“It is imperative for the Laggards, especially the ruling regimes, to wake up from their slumber and work earnestly to preserve the dignity of the nation and support Palestine,” the Houthis added.

The Yemeni group renewed its commitment and determination to support Palestine and its cause, persisting in the resistance option until victory is achieved.

“The crime of assassinating leader Haniyeh will not deter the Palestinian people and will not prevent the continuation of their resistance; it will only increase their steadfastness and resilience,” the group stressed.
