Israel has decided to cancel the vacations of soldiers in combat units, according to the Israeli news site Walla.

The Israeli military’s decision is part of a state of alert in anticipation of a possible response from Iran and Hezbollah following the assassination of key figures, Hamas chief Ismail Haniyeh and Hezbollah Commander Fuad Shukr.

The news site also reported that the Israeli army has increased its presence in the occupied West Bank due to the current security situation, fearing an escalation across various fronts.

The Israeli military stated that it is preparing and coordinating with security forces in the West Bank for various scenarios.
