Nineteen Palestinians were killed in overnight Israeli air strikes across the Gaza Strip, local sources reported today. At least thirteen victims were taken to Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Deir Al-Balah after strikes on homes in the Nuseirat and Al-Maghazi refugee camps, according to a medical source.
The Palestinian Civil Defence reported four fatalities in an apartment in Hamad City, western Khan Younis, which was attacked by Israeli warplanes. In the northern Gaza Strip, two Palestinians were killed and five were wounded when an Israeli drone hit a home in Beit Lahia, said a medical source from Kamal Adwan Hospital.
In Rafah, the Israeli army demolished entire residential areas in the Tel Al-Sultan neighbourhood, witnesses told Anadolu.
The ongoing Israeli offensive in Gaza has killed almost 40,000 Palestinians and wounded more than 92,000 others. An estimated 10,000 Palestinians are missing, presumed dead, under the rubble of their homes and other civilian infrastructure destroyed by Israel since last October.
